Prince Christian: – The prince attracts attention:

Today it is 15 years since Denmark received a future heir to the throne, when Crown Prince Frederik (52) and Crown Princess Mary (48) welcomed their first child. The boy was named Christian, was given the title prince and is scheduled to inherit the throne from his grandmother and father.

Thus, there is undoubtedly a lot of pressure on the shoulders of the young prince, who slowly but surely begins to enter the ranks of the adults. Fortunately, he has good role models to follow, and has close contact with the Norwegian royal family, among other things. When Princess Ingrid Alexandra (16) confirmed herself last year, he and his parents were self-described guests.

The prince will confirm himself in the spring of 2021. He was supposed to carry out the solemn ceremony this year, but the corona pandemic put an end to it.

He thus has to wait a bit. However, the birthday is undoubtedly to be celebrated, even if it is not the biggest battle either. Denmark has similar guidelines regarding infection control as here in Norway.

The pictures obviously appeal to many, because the comment field is overflowing with compliments.

The Danish Instagram celebrity Anders Hemmingsen has written the following to his one million followers about the photos: «Wow, a great guy. Congratulations on the 15 years, Prince Christian “, he writes.

The four photos that have been released were taken by photographer Franne Voigt, and show the prince in everything from a suit jacket to more casual outfits.

He poses funny in three of the pictures, but steps in with a wide smile on one. It is perhaps not so strange that he smiles broadly: When he turned 14 last year, he had regulation.

Several point out that he is like cheated out of the nose of his mother, Crown Princess Mary.

Named

When the prince was born on October 15, 2005, he was given the full name Christian Valdemar Henri John, a name that preserves both royal traditions and strong family ties. Both Christian and Valdemar are old and well-known Danish royal names. Henri is the baptismal name of grandfather Prince Henrik, and John after grandfather Donaldson.

Over the years, the prince has had several siblings. Princess Isabella has turned 13, while the twin siblings Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine have turned nine. Earlier this summer, new photos were shared of the whole family, who seemed to be enjoying their holiday in their home country.

The Instagram post contained a total of five photos, where one of them showed Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik in a loving embrace. Another picture showed Prince Christian with Prince Vincent sitting on a sofa, where the former held well around his little brother.
