Security forces in Cairo have arrested the driver of the car used in the theft and dragging of the “Maadi Girl” on Street 9 in Maadi; And efforts are being intensified to catch the remaining perpetrators.

The Maadi Police Department had received a notification from the people of Street 9 in Maadi that the body of a girl in her twenties had been found, and immediately a security force moved to the scene.

The unloading of cameras while the victim was walking on the street revealed that unknown persons in a car harassed her and tried to steal her handbag, so she grabbed it, so they continued to drag it about 3 meters until it fell to the ground and fled.
