Wahhab reveals an “important visit” to Major General Ibrahim

Former Minister Wiam Wahhab revealed, “The Director General of Public Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, is heading to Iraq tomorrow, and he will visit America on the 14th of this month on an important visit and he will meet with senior officials and it was possible that he would meet President Donald Trump before announcing his infection with Corona.”In an interview with Al-Jadeed TV, Wahab pointed out that “the French initiative is completely stalled, as it was met with American sanctions against the two ministers, Khalil and Fenianus, upon takeoff,” noting that “President Saad Hariri is forbidden to return to the government except according to foreign conditions.”

Wahab said, “The President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, will not sign a government formed by President Najib Mikati, and that Hezbollah prefers Hariri over Mikati.”

Regarding the French initiative, he said: “I am not in favor of clinging to any portfolio and the human minister in any ministry represents me, and raising the challenge cannot pass,” adding, “I would have preferred to meet Hezbollah with the revolution midway on October 17 to change the system, because it is a non-corrupt part.”Wahab added, “The Shiite duo does not need the Finance Ministry to guarantee themselves.”

Regarding the proposition of Baasiri’s name to form the government, he said: “He knows that his name is not on the table.”

He added, “Al-Taif has proven that we are unable to reach a place, because it has no reference, and it was established to be its reference from abroad.”

Wahhab also called for “going to an electoral law based on Lebanon as a single constituency and a secular state.”
