Sharjah 24 – Reuters:

Huge crowds of migrant workers gathered in front of airline ticket offices in Bangladesh to reserve a seat on the flights heading to Saudi Arabia. They were surprised that they also needed to undergo tests to detect “Covid 19” to be able to travel, even if they managed to obtain a flight ticket.

As airlines in Bangladesh and Saudi Arabia resumed issuing tickets, thousands of migrant workers who returned to their countries for official holidays and were not able to return to workplaces with the outbreak of the Corona virus, are stacked in front of the offices.

Many of these workers’ visas have expired, but those who still have valid visas strive to return to work.

One of them mentioned that the date of his flight was at noon on Sunday, and he was informed of the need to conduct a test to detect “Covid 19” disease immediately before traveling, adding that he did not know if he could do so in such a short time.

More than two million Bangladeshis work in Saudi Arabia, which is one of the largest sources of employment in the kingdom.
