Shock news from the blogger scene: The German-Vietnamese vlogger Brittanya Karma († 29) died at the end of November of the consequences of her corona disease.

In her last Instagram post, she appealed to her fans: “I hope your 2020 is better than mine. I couldn’t eat or sleep for five days, but I drank 3 liters a day. I am in so much pain. Corona should be taken more seriously. Please take good care of yourself. ” Shortly afterwards she was dead.

Until the end she had hoped that she would get well again. “I know that God did not make me the most beautiful or cleverest woman in the world, but one of the strongest who has made everyone in the world laugh so far,” wrote Brittanya Karma, whose real name was Nguyen Tran Phuong Linh.

She emphasized: “Whoever is with me knows no grief. Anyone who knows me can only laugh and forget their worries, at least for a short time. And I’m so proud of that. I’ll get through this with God’s help. ”

Unfortunately, it didn’t come to that, on Tuesday her brother Thai Lam confirmed the tragic news and published a photo with his sister on his Instagram channel. “I have no words. Life is unfair. Growing up with you was so much fun. You taught me so much in life. Life is precious. I’ll see you again one day, ”he wrote.

The 29-year-old was only recently engaged. Her partner Manu Henebeng proposed marriage to the woman from Hamburg in August. He is also shocked by the tragic fate of his great love, as he told the TV broadcaster RTL: “At first she only had a cough, then she had headaches and aching limbs. Then it got so bad that she couldn’t breathe and we called the ambulance. “

The Youtuber came to the intensive care unit. Because of Corona, however, they were not allowed to visit their fiancé, family or friends. Finally, two weeks after the positive corona test result, she died alone in the hospital – without family and friends being able to see her again.

“After the doctor called me and said she was no longer with us, I immediately called her parents. We then went straight to the hospital so that we could say goodbye to her », said her fiancé.

Brittanya Karma became known in Vietnam through her participation in the TV show “The Bachelor”. She was also known on German television: on the TV station Vox, she commented in the docu-soap “My child, your child – how do you raise?” the different styles of parenting.

It also achieved a wide reach on social media platforms. On her YouTube channel she published beauty videos on the one hand, but also addressed serious topics such as body shaming.
