Geoffrey Palmer up to 93

British actor Geoffrey Palmer, known for the long-running series Butterflies over time and The fall and rise of Reginald Perrin, died peacefully at home, his agent told the BBC. He was 93 years old.

In 2004, Palmer was named an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for Services to Drama.

He is survived by his wife Sally Green, daughter Harriet, and son Charlie Palmer, a director with credits Poldark, Doctor Who und „The Mallorca Files“. Charlie Palmer directed his father Poirot: The clocks.
