GOOD Morning Britain fans shared their shock on Twitter today after Gary Numan’s wife revealed some naughty truths about their marriage – she said she once gave him a “pity”.

62-year-old car singer Gary appeared on video just after 8 a.m. with his wife and manager Gemma O’Neil, chatting to hosts Adil Ray and Ranvir Singh about their 23-year marriage.

But the audience’s ears pricked up as things took a rapid turn.

Gary and Gemma were discussing their financial troubles and how Gemma had to support the family when Ranvir asked, “That was an incredible moment for you, Gemma, getting the groceries for the pop star because he can’t afford anything?”

Gemma admitted: “You know it was sad because as a big fan …”

Gary interrupted, “I don’t want pity!” To which Gemma said, “Well, you have pity, s ** g.”

And one person at home tweeted, “Did Gary Newman’s wife just say she pity him at 8am on Good Morning Britain?”

Another blushing spectator said, “I didn’t expect to hear of pity before 9:00 a.m.”

The couple have been married for 23 years, but superfan Gemma first met Gary when she was 11 years old.

They met several more times at his performances, but the beloved couple bonded years later when Gemma’s mother died, and Gary said that this led to their first “real conversation”.

She revealed, “My dad worked for the record company, so I first met him when I was younger. We only spoke properly when my mother died in 92. ”

They now have three daughters, Raven, Persia and Echo.

Gemma also shared about her cosmetic surgery nightmare at GMB, saying one of her breasts was ripped open while in a trailer with Gary.

She said, “We were on a caravan journey, I just got the seams out. I turned to the kids and they just split up. ”It looked like a shark attack and Gary had to hold it together. ”
