ROCK MUSIC legend Bruce Springsteen has announced that he plans to move to Ireland in case Donald wins a second term as US President.

The 71-year-old revealed his plans during an interview with Ryan Tubridy about RTEs Die Late Late Show in which he lamented the four “terrible” years America had experienced under President Trump.

Ahead of the November 3rd US presidential election, the US-born singer expressed confidence that Joe Biden could claim victory.

“We have two weeks before he is kicked out and I am confident he will,” he said.

“Hopefully it’s the beginning of America getting back on its feet. It was a terrible four years. ”

He continued, “I’m predicting on this show right now that President Trump will lose, Joe Biden will be the next President, and if not, make room for me over there in Ireland.”

Springsteen was interviewed via videolink from his personal New Jersey studio where he was recording his last album. Letter to you.

The veteran musician talked about how the songs on the new LP were inspired by his experience of moving to Ireland as a child and growing up as part of a large family on the east coast of the United States.

The Thunder Road singer also admitted that he took stock of his life following the sad death of a close friend and the only other surviving member of his first band, The Castiles.

He said, “I started meditating a little bit about it, basically most of the songs on Letter to You were the making of this piece of music.

“It’s just the consequences of time.

“When I was very young – I’m from Ireland and Italy, a big family – there were a lot of big guards and you got used to going by those guards and the body was there and everyone was drinking and talking to it Body in the middle of the room.

“I got very used to people who died when I was very young, six or seven years old.”

He added, “Then there is this long pause in your life when your contact with death is very little unless there is an accident or something tragic. Then you reach an age where it suddenly becomes a big part of your life again.

“It’s a little meditation on this moment in my own life.”

Springsteen was full of praise for its Irish fan base.

“Our Irish fans have grown to be one of our greatest in the world. We have a nice relationship with our Irish fans. ”

He described his admiration for Shane MacGowan and his belief that the work of the former Pogues frontman will live on forever.

Springsteen said, “I really believe that most of us will be forgotten in a hundred years, but I believe that Shane’s music will be remembered and sung.

“It’s just deep in nature. He’s a master to me and I have a deep, deep appreciation for his work and the work he has done with The Pogues. ”
