Looking for a way out of her emotional turmoil, Fiona freaked out and decided to drink hand sanitizer while her roommate slept.

After the producers found out what was going on, Fiona was treated by doctors for a few days and the decision was made to allow her to stay in the competition.

Much to Fiona’s surprise, she won the series and raised $ 100,000 for Angel Flight, a charity that coordinates non-emergency flights to give peasants access to specialty medical care that the distance and cost of travel would not otherwise afford them Would be available.

Fiona tried to commit suicide three times during her battle with alcoholism – and one attempt left her in a coma for four weeks.
