Vaid, who appeared in the 15th season of American Idol, said in a statement to the outlet that she recently met Max over dinner with mutual friends.
“It was a fun night and we all had to go to the studio together.
“We’ve just hung out and had fun since then,” concluded Sonika, who came fifth in the popular singing competition.
Max’s shocking outing with Sonika comes just days after he was seen pouting on the beach where he made a proposal to Demi on July 23, as per photos released by TMZ.
