The Criminal Investigation Department of the Egyptian Alexandria Security Directorate revealed the ambiguity of the killing of a battery dealer inside his residence in Ezbet Orabi area, Thani Al-Ameriya Police Department.

The investigations concluded that the wife was behind the incident, as she used a young man she knew from the social networking site after she created a page with a pseudonym and a pseudonym and did not tell the young man that she was married and falsely claimed that the victim had raped her and wanted revenge and disposal of him so that she could marry, according to Al-Masry Al-Youm.

In the details, the security authorities received a report from a housewife stating that unknown persons stormed her apartment in Ezbet Orabi area of the department, tied her up with ropes, killed her husband, and fled. The police department’s investigation officers went to the Al-Balagh website, and the examination revealed that the body of the 35-year-old husband, the owner of a battery store, was found inside his house in the aforementioned village, where he lives next to his brother and uncle “Hama.”

By examining the crime scene, it was found that the body of the victim – fully clothed – was lying between the kitchen and the bathroom in the aforementioned apartment – amid a pool of blood, with a slit wound on the neck and scattered injuries all over the body, and there were no stolen items.

By asking the wife, she accused unknown persons of knocking on the door of the house at dawn, and when she opened them, they hit her on the head, chanting: “Let the earth benefit your husband” – according to her saying. The wife added in her statements in the record that she passed out after that, and they stabbed her husband in his bedroom in the chest, but he resisted them and they kept chasing him until the kitchen and he breathed his last.

A report of the incident was issued at the second Amiriya Police Department, and the head of the Amiriya Public Prosecution Office ordered the second to seize the surveillance cameras in the vicinity of the scene of the accident, to autopsy the body of the victim, and to request investigations by the detectives about the incident.

Immediately, the director of security ordered the formation of a search team, and the search plan was based on re-discussing the wife of the dead man and examining the acquaintances and relatives of the husband to determine whether there were any disputes or not, and the extent of the wife’s good reputation.

By re-discussing the wife, it was found that her statements about the incident were inconsistent, as she said that the victim had a dispute with some people because of the excavation of antiquities, then she said that there was a dispute because of a dispute over a plot of land. What aroused the suspicion of the investigators, and by unloading the surveillance cameras in implementation of the Public Prosecution’s decision, a young man in his twenties was observed entering the victim’s house at dawn. Using modern technologies, it was possible to uncover the mystery of the accident and that the perpetrator of the incident was a 20-year-old young man, an electrician, residing in Giza Governorate, at the instigation of the victim’s wife after she got to know him through the social networking site “Facebook”.

Investigations revealed that the victim’s wife had created an account on “Facebook” under a pseudonym and pictures of a girl of great beauty, and she got to know the accused and claimed that she was a miss and their relationship was strengthened through social networking sites until he offered her to marry. According to the investigations, the wife stopped communicating with the accused for a while, then returned to tell him that one of her relatives sexually assaulted her and made her lose her virginity to marry him against her will. She asked the latter to get rid of him until she succeeded in convincing him.

Investigations confirmed that the wife gave the accused her home address and her husband’s name – as he was her rapist – and agreed with him that one of her female relatives would facilitate his entry into the apartment by opening the door for him at dawn and handing him a knife to kill him. The investigations triggered a surprise that the accused met the wife without knowing her at the door of the house – because her photos on Facebook were fabricated – and she gave him the knife used in the accident and helped him finish off the husband, then fabricated a story documenting it with ropes.

It turned out that the accused came from Giza and remained sitting at a cafe near the victim’s house until dawn, and the wife opened the door to him and handed him a knife with which he stabbed the wife while he was sleeping, but the latter continued to resist until he slaughtered him near the kitchen. In coordination with the Giza Security Directorate, the accused was arrested, who was stunned when he learned the truth about the playful wife who had used him to kill her husband without his knowledge.
