According to the lawsuit that the couple filed before the Los Angeles County Supreme Court in July, the 14-month-old was photographed at their home in the city during lockdown due to the Corona virus, and they described the incident as a violation of privacy.
X17 agency will compensate Prince Harry and his wife for some legal fees, and the agency has agreed to hand over the photos, destroy any copies it has, and stop distributing the pictures.
Prince Harry and Meghan reside in Santa Barbara, California, after they abdicated their royal duties at the end of last March.
According to court documents, the couple was at a friend’s house in Los Angeles when the pictures were taken of Archie and Megan.
California privacy laws make it illegal to photograph anyone in their home with drones or telephoto lenses.
“We apologize to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their son for the distress we caused, and we were wrong to display these pictures and we commit not to do so again,” X17 said in a statement.
Megan filed a lawsuit in London against the publisher of “Mail Online” and “Mail On Sun Day”, filing a violation of privacy and copyright infringement for posting a letter she wrote to her father.
