Microsoft may change the future of smart devices with a new...

Some sites interested in technical affairs reported that Microsoft has registered a patent for a new device that may change the concepts of smartphones.According to the available information, the patent that Microsoft registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) indicates its intent to develop a smartphone equipped with a foldable chassis at more than one hinge.

The images that spread for the design of the phone indicate that its structure is equipped with two moving hinges that connect 3 screens to each other, and one of these screens is foldable at an angle of 360 degrees to function as an external screen or be part of the large primary screen that will be formed when the device is opened to its full width.

Microsoft did not provide any official information about the specifications of the device, or whether its screens are separate, as in the Surface Duo devices, or will be a single large flexible screen, as in one of the devices revealed by TCL earlier this year.

Many electronics companies are currently looking to develop different models of foldable portable devices, as they consider that these devices will be essential in the future of the phone and tablet markets.
