Former US President Donald Trump is no longer rich enough to be included in Forbes magazine’s list of the 400 richest Americans.
Trump’s fortune is currently estimated at $2.5 billion, making him $400 million less than the limit set for this year’s list, the magazine said Tuesday.
Last year, Trump ranked 339th in the ranking, but Forbes said he has not caught up to any of the top 400 this year as his fortune has fallen by $600 million since the start of the pandemic.
According to Forbes, tech stocks, cryptocurrencies, and other assets have boomed in the Corona era.
But the property in the big cities, which make up the bulk of Trump’s fortune, has weakened, removing the former president from the country’s most exclusive club, the magazine wrote.
Trump has been on the list every year since 1996, starting with his 368th. From 1997 to 2016, the year he was elected, he found himself in the top half of the list.
However, his decline began in 2016, and since then Trump has continued to deteriorate in the rankings, before falling off the list altogether now.
