General Motors, the American automaker, unveiled an electric “cross-off” car whose design is based on the famous “Buick Electra” series of cars. The new car has a capacity of 435 kilowatts, reaching a speed of 100 kilometers per hour in just 4.3 seconds.

“Interesting Engineering” quoted Sam Basil, executive vice president of General Motors, the manufacturer of Chevrolet, Buick and Cadillac cars, as saying, “The advanced technology and distinctive design of the new car meets what customers aspire to, just as all previous Buick models did.”

“General Motors” stated that the car is powered by an Altium battery, which enables it to travel a range of up to 660 kilometers after being fully charged.

“Buick has proven its leadership in the electric car sector, and the new Electra combines beautiful design with smart connectivity technology in the new era of zero emissions,” said Molly Beck, Executive Director of Marketing and Sales at SAIC General Motors. The car has sculpted surfaces on the front and sides, wheels and headlights.

The car is equipped with doors that open like butterfly wings after recognizing them to the face of its owner, and it is attached to a hidden skateboard integrated with the stop lamp under the rear bumper to expand the user’s personal mobility options.
