ADNOC Logistics and Services, the shipping and maritime logistics arm of the ADNOC Group, signed an agreement yesterday with ADNOC, represented by the Petroleum Ports Authority, under which it obtains a 25-year license to provide shipping and various services for transporting hydrocarbon products to ADNOC’s petroleum ports in Jebel Dhanna, Das and Zirku islands. This agreement represents an important development that consolidates ADNOC Logistics and Services’ position and reinforces its role as a strategic partner for the Petroleum Ports Authority in providing world-class services in the fields of shipping, navigation, ports and logistical operations for all petroleum ports for the ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi. ADNOC Logistics and Services has extensive experience managing port operations. In 2019 alone, the Marine Services team completed 8659 dives, 741 ship towing operations, 2022 marine line handling, 5,630 piloting and 2,806 mooring operations. In addition, the company manages the largest inventory of response equipment dedicated to handling oil spill incidents in UAE.

ADNOC Logistics and Services also operates logistical bases in Ruwais, Fujairah and Mussafah. The Mussafah base is the largest integrated logistics base in the UAE and the Gulf, with a total area of ​​more than 1.4 million square meters. During 2019, the Mussafah base, which has a capacity of 72 ships, received 4,500 entry operations to the port, and handled 910,000 tons of customer shipments.
The company’s marine passenger terminal also transports 130,000 passengers annually from Zayed Port, providing a direct means of transport connecting marine facilities and facilities in the UAE. ADNOC Logistics and Services also operates the Borouge Container Terminal in Ruwais, from which more than 3.5 million metric tons of cargo have been shipped over the past year.
